  • Credit Hours Credit hours are hours that an employee elects to work, with supervisory approval, in excess of the employees basic work requirement under a flexible work schedule. Credit hours may only be accrued under a flexible work schedule. Employees must notify their direct supervisor of their intent to earn credit hours and the duties to be performed at least four (4) hours in advance of the time. Management will respond and approve the credit hours if the work is assigned duties that could not have been performed during a normal tour of duty. Credit hours used are considered hours worked.

  • Allocation of Loan Amounts The Loan shall be withdrawn in a single tranche.   • Employer Commitments It is agreed that the institution will make every reasonable attempt to minimize the impact of funding shortfalls and reductions on the work force. It is incumbent upon institutions to communicate effectively with their employees and the unions representing those employees as soon as the impact of any funding reduction or shortfall or profile change has been assessed. If a work force reduction is necessary, the Joint Labour Management Committee will canvas employees in a targeted area or other areas over a fourteen (14) day period, or such longer time as the Joint Labour Management Committee agrees, to find volunteer solutions that provide as many viable options as possible and minimize potential layoffs. Subject to any agreement that the Joint Labour Management Committee may make to extend the period of a canvass, such canvasses shall take place either: • prior to the issuance of lay-off notice to employees under the local agreement, or • by no later than fourteen (14) calendar days following the annual deadline for notice of non-renewal or layoff where a local provision provides for such a deadline, whichever date is later. The union shall be provided with a copy of each final plan for employee labour adjustment.

  • Rate Redetermination after Catastro- phic Damage In event of Catastrophic Damage and ad- justment, if any, of Included Timber, Contracting Officer shall make an appraisal to determine for each species the catastrophe-caused difference between the appraised unit value of Included Timber remaining immediately prior to the catastrophe and the appraised unit value of existing and potential Included Timber immediately after the ca- tastrophe. Included Timber is any that would not be elimi- nated under B8.32. Potential Included Timber is any that would be added under B8.32. Tentative Rates and Flat Rates in effect at the time of catastrophe shall be adjusted by said differences to be- come the redetermined rates for the purpose of a contract modification under B8.32. Accordingly, Base Rates shall be adjusted to correspond to the redetermined rates if redetermined rates are less than the original Base Rates, subject to new Base Rate limitations of 25 cents per hun- dred cubic feet or equivalent. However, existing Base In- dices shall not be changed under this Subsection. Upon agreement under B8.32, redetermined rates and Required Deposits shall be considered established under B3.1 for timber Scaled subsequent to Catastrophic Damage. At time of such appraisal, Specified Road construc- tion cost shall include the estimated cost of any construc- tion work listed in the Schedule of Items performed and abandoned.
