Association Executive a) The Board recognizes the right of the Association to elect an executive whose duties shall be to assist any employee whom the Association represents. No individual employee or group of employees shall undertake to represent the Bargaining Unit at meetings with the Board or individual trustees without proper authorization of the executive of the bargaining unit.

Association Executive. (a) An Occasional Teacher who is elected to the position of President of the Association shall, if the duties of the office are such that she/he is required to make herself/himself unavailable for assignment, be retained on the Board’s Occasional Teacher List in an inactive status during the period of such unavailability for no for longer than one (1) school year at a time.
Association Executive. HOOPP will recognize an Association Executive which shall consist of a President and up to two (2) members. HOOPP shall not be required to maintain any member of the Association Executive on specific hours of work and shall be advised of the names of members of this Association Executive and notified of any changes made from time to time. All members of the Association Executive shall be employees of HOOPP, who have actively worked with HOOPP for at least twelve (12) months. As far as possible all activities of the Association Executive will be carried on outside the regular working hours of the members thereof, unless otherwise mutually agreed, provided that such agreement shall not be unreasonably withheld by HOOPP.

  • Association President The President of the Association has the right to visit schools. The President will coordinate the visits with the offices of the principals in order to facilitate the purpose of this visit. Visits that are made to solve special problems of teachers will be arranged in advance by notifying the office of the principal.

  • Association-Management Committee There shall be an Association-Management Committee comprised of two (2) representatives of the parties. The Committee shall meet quarterly, unless otherwise mutually agreed. Agenda items to be discussed shall be exchanged in writing at least five calendar days prior to the meeting. Meetings of this Committee will be to discuss matters of mutual concern, matters relating to nursing, professional practice, scheduling and work load issues. The Committee shall promote and provide for effective and meaningful communication. The parties agree Self Scheduling is appropriate subject matter to discuss in this forum.

  • Association Leaves 1. The Board will provide the Association President or their designee with forty (40) days of paid released time during the course of the school year in order to conduct Association Business. The Association shall reimburse the Board for the cost of any substitute required as the result of any such released time which exceeds forty (40) days during the course of the school year.

  • Association Dues 5.01 In every pay period, the Board shall deduct from every pay of each Occasional Teacher the appropriate amount of dues as authorized by the Constitution of the Association and directed by its Executive.

  • Association Membership In accordance with applicable laws, the Employer/Appointing Authority shall not discriminate against, interfere with, restrain or coerce an employee from exercising his/her right to join or not to join the Association, or participate in an official capacity on behalf of the Association, which is in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement. The Association shall not discriminate against, interfere with, restrain or coerce an employee from exercising the right to join or not to join the Association, and will not discriminate against any employee in the administration of this Agreement because of non-membership in the Association.

  • Hospital-Association Committee (a) There shall be a Hospital-Association Committee comprised of representatives of the Hospital, one of whom shall be the Chief Nursing Officer or designate and of the Association, one of whom shall be the Bargaining Unit President or designate. The number of representatives is set out in the Appendix of Local Provisions and the membership of the Committee may be expanded by mutual agreement.

  • Association Interview The Association will be allowed to interview newly employed nurses during the Hospital’s general orientation and, when possible, be notified of the date for the interview at least two (2) weeks in advance.

  • Association Leave A total of 10 days of leave with pay during the current school year shall be granted the Association for use by the Association. A maximum of four additional days may be used for Association leave and the substitute’s salary will be reimbursed to the Board by the Association. The President of the Association will notify the Superintendent as to the educators and dates involved at least five (5) days before such leave is desired.

  • Association Release Time Subd. 1. The Employer and the Association agree that the release of an ASF Member from normal job duties to perform other service shall be governed as follows:
