This grant is made for the purpose of: Touring Arts Grants widen the distribution of arts events throughout South Dakota and offer new opportunities to artists, arts-producing organizations, schools, and audiences. Touring Arts Grants are intended to provide quality arts programming to schools and communities and help make the arts available in all regions of the state. As the recipient of a Touring Arts Grant, the artist/ensemble is able to schedule an event/program with 50% of the artist/ensemble’s negotiated fees paid for by the sponsoring organization (federally tax-exempt 501c3 nonprofit organization, units of government, public schools, or nonprofit educational institutions) and the rest coming from SDAC grant funds. BASIS FOR SUBAWARD AMOUNTS. This grant is made for the purpose of county emergency management program support refered to as the Local Emergency Management Performance Grant (LEMPG). As a condition of this award, you are required to contribute a cost match of non-Federal funds in the amount of 50% of salary, benefits, and required training costs. Counties with population under 19,000 will be eligible to be reimbursed up to 50% for one emergency manager. Counties with population over 19,000 will be eligible to be reimbursed up to 50% for two emergency managers. This reimbursement is by position, not FTE equivalent. Counties with a population over 100,000 will be reimbursed up to 50% for three employee’s as long as all three have an active role in completing LEMPG requirements. Generally, the Government's award decision will be based on selection criteria which addresses past performance, technical acceptability, proposal risk and cost.   • Supplementation of Compensation Award ‌ If an employee is prevented from performing the employee's regular work with the City on account of an occupational accident that is recognized by the Workers' Compensation Board as compensable within the meaning of the Workers' Compensation Act, the City will supplement the award made by the Workers' Compensation Board for loss of wages to the employee by such an amount that the award of the Workers' Compensation Board for loss of wages (excluding non- economic loss payment), together with the supplementation by the City, will equal 100% of the employee's regular net wage (gross pay less statutory deductions, union dues and required benefit plan contributions).
