Common use of CAFA Notice Clause in Contracts

CAFA Notice. Within ten (10) days after this Agreement is filed in Court, the Settlement Administrator will cause a notice of the proposed settlement consisting of the materials required by the Class Action Fairness Act (28 U.S.C. § 1715) (“CAFA”) to be served upon the appropriate state official in each state of the United States as well as the appropriate federal officials. Within fifteen (15) days after the Notice Date, the Settlement Administrator shall provide declarations to the Court, with a copy to Class Counsel and Defense Counsel, attesting to the measures undertaken to provide notice as directed by CAFA.
