Check Card. You may use your Card to purchase goods and services from participating merchants. If approved, you may use your card to purchase goods and services from participating merchants. However, you may not use your card to initiate any type of electronic gambling transactions through the Internet. If you wish to pay for goods or services over the Internet, you may be required to provide card number security information before you will be permitted to complete the transaction. You agree that you will not use your Card for any transaction that is illegal under applicable federal, state, or local law. Funds to cover your Card purchases will be deducted from your share draft account. For one-time debit transactions, you must consent to the Credit Union's overdraft protection plan in order for the transaction amount to be covered under the plan. Without your consent, the Credit Union may not authorize and pay an overdraft resulting from these types of transaction. Services and fees for overdrafts are shown in the document the Credit Union uses to capture the member's opt-in choice for overdraft protection and the Schedule of Fees and Charges. For other types of transactions, if the balance in your account is not sufficient to pay the transaction amount, the Credit Union may pay the amount and treat the transaction as a request to transfer funds from other deposit accounts, approved overdraft protection accounts, or loan accounts that you have established with the Credit Union. If you initiate a transaction that overdraws your account, you agree to make immediate payment of any overdrafts together with any service charges to the Credit Union. In the event of repeated overdrafts, the Credit Union may terminate all services under this Agreement. You may use your Card and PIN (Personal Identification Number) in automated teller machines of the Credit Union, Advantage, CO-OP and PULSE Networks, and such other machines or facilities as the Credit Union may designate. In addition, you may use your card without a PIN for certain transactions on the Visa and PULSE networks. However, provisions of this Agreement relating to Visa transactions do not apply to transactions processed through non-Visa networks. Concierge members may be authorized for higher withdrawal limits. • You can transfer up to the available balance in your accounts at the time of transfer. ELECTRONIC CHECK CONVERSION--TYPES OF TRANSFERS Your check can result in an electronic funds transfer. This can happen in several ways. For example: • You can purchase goods or pay for services and authorize a merchant or service provider to convert your check into an electronic funds transfer. • At the time, you offer a check to the merchant or service provider, you may be asked to authorize the merchant or service provider to electronically collect a charge in the event a check is returned for insufficient funds. Paying such a fee electronically is an electronic funds transfer. Your authorization to make these types of electronic funds transfers may be expressed in writing or implied through the posting of a sign. Check Card. The Check Card/ATM Card is the property of Heartland Credit Union and is subject to revocation at any time. It must be returned to us by you upon request. You agree that the Check Card/ATM Card issued to you may be impounded automatically by the Credit Union at any time at an automated terminal. You agree that you will be the only one to use the Check Card/ATM Card issued to you and that you will not divulge, give, or make available to any other person, even Credit Union employees, your PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION NUMBER (PIN) either directly or indirectly at any time.
Check Card. You may request a Check Lard by submitting to Banka completed Check Card Application (“Card Application”). The issuance and your use of the Check Card will be governed by the terms and conditions of the separate Check Card Agreement and Disclosure Statement (the "Card Agreement”). Upon approval by Bank of the Card Application, a Check Card, together with a copy of the Card Agreement, will be delivered to you. With your Check Card you will be able to withdraw funds from your Account. You may use your Check Card at participating Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) and for point-of-sale transactions to purchase goods or services with merchants that accept VISA® cards.   • Check Cashing We may charge a fee for anyone that does not have an account with us who is cashing a check, draft or other instrument written on your account. We may also require reasonable identification to cash such a check, draft or other instrument. We can decide what identification is reasonable under the circumstances and such identification may be documentary or physical and may include collecting a thumbprint or fingerprint. Truncation, Substitute Checks, and Other Check Images. If you truncate an original check and create a substitute check, or other paper or electronic image of the original check, you warrant that no one will be asked to make payment on the original check, a substitute check or any other electronic or paper image, if the payment obligation relating to the original check has already been paid. You also warrant that any substitute check you create conforms to the legal requirements and generally accepted specifications for substitute checks. You agree to retain the original check in conformance with our internal policy for retaining original checks. You agree to indemnify us for any loss we may incur as a result of any truncated check transaction you initiate. We can refuse to accept substitute checks that have not previously been warranted by a bank or other financial institution in conformance with the Check 21 Act. Unless specifically stated in a separate agreement between you and us, we do not have to accept any other electronic or paper image of an original check. Remotely Created Checks. Like any standard check or draft, a remotely created check (sometimes called a telecheck, preauthorized draft or demand draft) is a check or draft that can be used to withdraw money from an account. Unlike a typical check or draft, however, a remotely created check is not issued by the paying bank and does not contain the signature of the account owner (or a signature purported to be the signature of the account owner). In place of a signature, the check usually has a statement that the owner authorized the check or has the owner's name typed or printed on the signature line. For example, if a person provides an account number in response to a telephone solicitation, the telephone solicitor can use the account number to issue a remotely created check to withdraw money from that account. You warrant and agree to the following for every remotely created check we receive from you for deposit or collection: (1) you have received express and verifiable authorization to create the check in the amount and to the payee that appears on the check; (2) you will maintain proof of the authorization for at least 2 years from the date of the authorization, and supply us the proof if we ask; and

The following limitations on ATM Card transactions may apply: - There is no limit on the number of cash withdrawals you may make in any one (1) day. - You may withdraw up to a maximum of $500.00 in any one (1) day, if there are sufficient funds in your account. - There is no limit on the number of POS transactions you may make in any one (1) day. - For security purposes, there are other limits on the frequency and amount of transfers available at ATMs. - You may transfer up to the available balance in your accounts at the time of the transfer. - See Section 2 for transfer limitations that may apply to these transactions. Because of the servicing schedule and processing time required in ATM operations, there may be a delay between the time a deposit (either cash or check) is made and when it will be available for withdrawal.

  • Mastercard Purchases and cash withdrawals made in foreign currencies will be debited from your account in U.S. dollars. The exchange rate used to convert foreign currency transactions to U.S. dollars is either a government-mandated exchange rate or a wholesale exchange rate and is selected by MasterCard. The rate MasterCard uses for a particular transaction is the rate MasterCard selects for the applicable currency on the day the transaction is processed. This rate may differ from the rate applicable on the date the transaction occurred or was posted to your account. A fee of up to 1.00% will be charged on all transactions completed outside of the United States, where the cardholder’s country code differs from the merchant’s country code. All fees are calculated based on the transaction amount after it is converted to U.S. dollars. These fees are charged except where excluded.

  • Checkoff The Employer shall deduct the bi-weekly membership dues from the earnings of those employees who authorize such deductions in writing. The Union shall submit such authorizations and certify the amounts to be deducted at least seven (7) days prior to the end of the payroll period for which the deductions are to be effective and the deductions shall continue in effect until canceled by the employee through the Union. The aggregate deductions of all employees, together with a detailed record, shall be remitted to the Union office within ten (10) days after such deductions are made.

  • Check Meters Developer, at its option and expense, may install and operate, on its premises and on its side of the Point of Interconnection, one or more check meters to check Connecting Transmission Owner’s meters. The check meters shall be subject at all reasonable times to inspection and examination by Connecting Transmission Owner or its designee.
