COMMUNICATION BETWEEN THE PARTIES. 18.1 Forms and means of communication Communication under the Agreement (information, requests, etc.) must be made in writing, unless otherwise indicated in the agreement. Formal notifications must be made by registered post with proof of delivery (‘formal notification on paper’). However, formal notifications may be sent electronically if the applicable national law in the Member State concerned allows it, notably with proof of delivery.
