Conduct of the Project. C.1. The Proposer agrees to do the work set out in the Proposal in accordance with good standards relevant to such undertakings, and shall expend funds received hereunder only in accordance with such Proposal and the requirements of this Agreement.

Conduct of the Project. The Parties agree: that they have each received a copy of the Application and agree that the roles, budget, contributions and program of research of each of the Parties in relation to the Project are set out accurately in the Application and this Agreement; to each carry out their roles, responsibilities and program of research and provide their Project Contributions as set out in this Agreement and in the Application or as varied from time to time with the prior approval of the Parties and the NHMRC (if required); to act in a manner that is consistent with, and enables the Administering Institution to give effect to, all of the Administering Institution’s obligations under the NHMRC Agreement; to conduct the Project in accordance with the NHMRC Approved Standards and Guidelines (including obtaining, maintaining and complying with any Institutional Approvals); to carry out the Project in an ethical, responsible, diligent and competent manner; to ensure that the Project is performed and completed within the Funding Period unless otherwise varied by the NHMRC having given reasonable advance written notice to the Administering Institution; to ensure that their Specified Personnel perform the Project in accordance with the Application and this Agreement; to implement sound research governance procedures in respect of the Project including procedures for notification of Misconduct in accordance with the NHMRC’s Misconduct Policy and notification and management of breaches of the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research (2007); to cooperate with each other in relation to any allegations of Misconduct or Research Misconduct; that any Institutional Approval, including statements of compliance and/or ethics clearance necessary for the performance of a Research Activity where applicable must be obtained prior to the commencement of that Research Activity and any associated Funding must not be expended until Institutional Approvals have been granted; to comply with the Privacy Xxx 0000 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles under that Act in the use, collection, storage and security or disclosure of any personal and/or health information collected or used during the Project; to maintain appropriate records of their involvement in the Project in accordance with clause 8 of the NHMRC Funding Agreement; to cooperate with each other in providing information that the Administering Institution requires to compile the Reports required under clause 9 of t...
Conduct of the Project. Each Party agrees to conduct the Project in accordance with this Agreement, including any Special Conditions. The Parties shall use all reasonable endeavours to carry out the Project to a high standard and follow the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research (xxxxx://xxxxx.xxx.xx/xxxxx-xx/xxxxxxxxxxxx/xxxxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxx-xxxxxxx-xxxxxxxx-0000) and the National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research (xxxxx://xxxxx.xxx.xx/xxxxx-xx/xxxxxxxxxxxx/xxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxxx-xxxxxxx-xxxxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxxxxx-0000-xxxxxxx-0000). Each Party must ensure that all necessary ethical, administrative and governmental approvals relating to the Project are in place before commencing the Project. PROJECT FUNDING & SUPPLIES There will be no financial obligation and no funding of any sort required from each Party for the conduct of the Project other than as set out in Item 6 and Item 9 of the Schedule. Each Party shall supply in a timely and diligent manner all funds, personnel, equipment, materials (including Background Materials) and other things necessary to fulfil its responsibilities under this Agreement for the Project. Any specific supplies to be provided by a Party are listed in Item 6 and Item 9 of the Schedule. In undertaking the Project, each Party must ensure that it obtains and/or uses Project Material and Background Material in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies guidelines and codes of conduct (including any applicable ethical approvals).

Conduct of the Project. The Project will take place under the general supervision of [name Project Leader] (the Project Leader). The Parties shall conduct the Project in accordance with the Research Proposal, the Grant Award Decision and the NWO Grant Rules 2017 to the best of their knowledge and ability and taking into account the criteria and standards applicable to scientific and/or technological research. The Project Leader is responsible for the scientific quality, coordination, Project management and progress of the Project and to this extent arranges for: the organisation of a kick-off meeting to be organized at the start of the Project to which all Parties shall be invited; managing the process of obtaining societal, economic and/or scientific value out of the Results; The Project Leader may appoint a project manager in or outside his/her knowledge institute and delegate its Project management. For any avoidance of doubt, the Project Leader remains responsible for the delegated tasks. The Parties shall inform each other in the event that new information emerges which is relevant to the Research or the utilization of the Results. If any patentable invention is created in the Project, the respective Party shall inform the Project Leader. The Project Leader shall inform the other Parties thereof by sending a completed invention disclosure form to the other Parties. In the event that the Project cannot be conducted in accordance with this Agreement, the Research Proposal and/or the NWO Grant Rules 2017, the Project Leader notifies NWO immediately. All possible solutions shall be discussed, upon which a decision on the continuation of the Project shall be taken by NWO. All Parties shall be privileged to obtain first-hand information on the progress of the Project and the Project in general. Project Stakeholders are given the opportunity to be the first to express interest in specific generated Results for which (commercial) usage rights can be negotiated in accordance with Annex 1.
