- COURTTIME. A. All members of the Department when required to appear in court for any department related reason shall be compensated for each hour or part of an hour worked. Overtime and compensatory time shall be earned in fifteen minute increments at the overtime rate.
- COURTTIME. Any member attending Court or an Inquest during their time shall be paid four (4) hours overtime per attendance. Morning and afternoon attendance shall be counted as separate appearances. COURT OVERTIME Members attending court which commences during their regular shift and extending beyond the period of their shift will be paid at the overtime rate for the period of duty that extends beyond one half hour or more in excess of the regular tour of duty. Members who are scheduled for court and have been served a subpoena are not permitted to request and/or sign for any form of leave for that court date. Being called to extra duty, whether voluntary or upon orders of the Chief or designate, the Board shall pay four (4) hours overtime for the first hour spent on duty or portion thereof and one (1) hour overtime for each subsequent hour spent. Call out shall include calling a member to return to duty after their shift or special duty assignment and the member has left the station, or requiring them to attend to duty before their shift commences, but shall not include attendance at court.
