Common use of DAY OFF WITH PAY Clause in Contracts

DAY OFF WITH PAY. In addition to the holidays stipulated in Paragraph each employee shall be granted a day off with pay, at his average rate of earnings, if he is working for the Employer on the day designated by the latter for such purpose. The day off with pay shall be designated by the Employer during the period from November of the current year to the last day of February of the following year. Where an employee cannot be granted one day off in that period, he shall be paid one additional day's pay at his average rate of earnings.

DAY OFF WITH PAY. 19.01 In addition to the holidays stipulated in Paragraph 18.01, each employee in the employ of the Corporation on the day designated by the Corporation for such purpose shall be granted a day off with pay, at his his/her average rate of earnings. In addition to the holidays stipulated in Paragraph 18.01, if he is working for each employee in the Employer employ of the Company on the day designated by the latter Company for such purpose. DAY OFF WITH PAY. 25.01 (a) In addition to the holidays stipulated in Paragraph Article 24.01, each employee in the employ of the Company, on the day designated by the Company for such purpose, shall be granted a day off with pay, pay at his average her basic rate of pay for that day or, if a part -time employee at the rate of 5% of her earnings, if he is working excluding overtime and premium payments, for the Employer on two pay periods immediately preceding the day designated by the latter for such purpose. The day off with pay shall be designated by the Employer during the period from November of the current year to the last day of February of the following year. Where an employee cannot be granted one day off in that period, he shall be paid one additional day's pay at his average rate of earningspay.
