Common use of Evidence of Ownership Clause in Contracts

Evidence of Ownership. (1) Upon receipt of a certificate of any bank, trust company or other depositary satisfactory to the Warrant Agent stating that the Warrants specified therein have been deposited by a named person with such bank, trust company or other depositary and will remain so deposited until the expiry of the period specified therein, the Company and the Warrant Agent may treat the person so named as the owner, and such certificate as sufficient evidence of the ownership by such person of such Warrants during such period, for the purpose of any requisition, direction, consent, instrument or other document to be made, signed or given by the holder of the Warrants so deposited.
