Extension of the Term. Except as a result of the express extension rights set forth in this Section 1.3, the term of this Agreement shall extend beyond the Expiration Date, unless and until the City Council, in its sole discretion, approves such as extension amending the Agreement to provide for a term beyond the initial term.
