Common use of Governmental Authority Clause in Contracts

Governmental Authority. “Governmental Authority” means any federal, state, municipal, foreign or other government, governmental department, commission, board, bureau, agency or instrumentality, or any private or public court or tribunal.

Governmental Authority. “Governmental Authority” Authority means any nation or government, any federal, state, municipalcity, foreign town, municipality, county, local or other government, governmental political subdivision thereof or thereto and any department, commission, board, bureau, instrumentality, agency or instrumentalityother entity exercising executive, legislative, judicial, regulatory or any private administrative functions of or public court or tribunalpertaining to government.

Governmental Authority. “Governmental Authority” means any Any international, foreign, federal, state, municipal, foreign county or other municipal government, or political subdivision thereof; any governmental departmentor quasi-governmental agency, commissionauthority, board, bureau, agency commission, department, instrumentality or instrumentality, public body; or any private or public court or administrative tribunal.

The term “Governmental Authority” means shall mean the United States and any federal, state, municipalcounty, foreign or other governmentcity and political subdivisions that exercises jurisdiction, governmental and any agency, department, commission, board, bureau, agency commission or instrumentality, or any private or public court or tribunalother instrumentality thereof.

Governmental Authority. “Governmental Authority” means shall mean any (i) federal, state, local, municipal, foreign or other government, (ii) governmental or quasi-governmental entity of any nature (including any governmental agency, branch, department, commission, board, bureau, agency or instrumentalityofficial, or entity and any private or public court or other tribunal) or (iii) body exercising, or entitled to exercise any administrative, executive, judicial, legislative, police, regulatory, or taxing authority or power of any nature, including any arbitral tribunal.

Governmental Authority. “Governmental Authority” means shall mean any United States, foreign, federal, state, municipalprovincial, foreign municipal or local government, government agency, court of competent jurisdiction, administrative agency or commission or other government, governmental department, commission, board, bureau, agency or regulatory authority or instrumentality, or any private or public court or tribunal.

Governmental Authority. “Governmental Authority” means any federalnation or government, any state, municipal, foreign province or territory or other political subdivision thereof, any governmental agency, department, authority, instrumentality, regulatory body, court, central bank or other governmental entity exercising executive, legislative, judicial, taxing, regulatory or administrative functions of or pertaining to government, governmental department, commission, board, bureau, agency or instrumentality, or any private or public court or tribunalsecurities exchange and any self-regulatory organization exercising such functions.

Governmental Authority. “Governmental Authority” means " shall mean any: (a) nation, state, commonwealth, province, territory, county, municipality, district or other jurisdiction of any nature; (b) federal, state, local, municipal, foreign or other government; or (c) governmental or quasi-governmental authority of any nature (including any governmental division, governmental department, agency, commission, board, bureau, agency or instrumentality, official, organization, unit, body or Entity and any private or public court or other tribunal).
