MANDATORY SITE VISIT. There will be a pre-bid conference held on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 beginning at 2:00 p.m., in the Entomology Building (adjacent to the Administrative Building at the Rock Eagle 4-H Center, 000 Xxxx Xxxxx Xxxx, Xxxxxxxx, XX 00000. Attendance at this conference is MANDATORY for any General Contractor intending to bid on this project. All prospective bidders shall have a representative to attend and participate in a tour of the work site conducted by the Owner’s Representative. Failure to attend the mandatory site visit is basis for rejection of bid. Sub-Contractors and others may attend if they so desire. Contract, if awarded, will be on a lump sum basis. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty-five days after time has been called on the date of opening except in accordance with the provisions of Georgia law. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond made payable to the Owner in an amount equal to not less than five percent of the Bid. Both a performance bond and a payment bond will be required, each in an amount equal to 100 percent of the Contract Sum prior to execution of contract. The Owner reserves the right in its sole and complete discretion to waive technicalities and informalities. The Owner further reserves the rights in its sole and complete discretion to reject all bids and any bid that is not responsive or that is over the budget. The Owner anticipates that the contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder who provides the lowest bid within the budget. In judging whether the bidder is responsible, the Owner will consider, but is not limited to, the following:  Whether the bidder or its principals are currently ineligible, debarred, suspended, or otherwise excluded from bidding or contracting by any state or federal agency, department, or authority;  Whether the bidder or its principals have been terminated for cause or are currently in default on a public works contract;  Whether the bidder can demonstrate sufficient cash flow to undertake the project as evidenced by a Current Ratio of 1.0 or higher;  Whether the bidder can demonstrate a commitment to safety with regard to Workers' Compensation by having an Experience Modification Rate (EMR) over the past three years not having exceeded an average of 1.2; and  Whether the bidder’s past work provides evidence of an ability to successfully complete public works projects within the established time, quality, or cost, or to comply with the bidder’s contract obligations....
MANDATORY SITE VISIT. The Department REQUIRES that bidders visit the site during the tender period to become familiar with and take into account the existing bridge system and all relevant surrounding site conditions. The site visit will occur on Friday, July 20th, at 10:30 AM on site. Access to the bridge will be VIA the north (Charlottetown) abutment. Bidders are to have all PPE on them during the site visit (hard hat, safety vest, steel-toed boots). BIDDERS WHO DO NOT ATTEND THE SITE VISIT WILL HAVE THEIR TENDER RETURNED TO THEM UN-OPENED. The successful Contractor to have included in tender price all costs associated with performing all aspects of the work which are affected by existing conditions or related existing conditions which arise as a result of performing any aspect of the work. The Contractor shall take into account all associated precautions and/or altered work methods. No additional compensation will be provided for any work items affected by existing site conditions. Bidders are responsible for their own safety during the site visit, and are not to negatively affect the safety of the travelling public.

Xxx Xxxxxxx, Acting WWTP Operations Superintendent at (000) 000-0000 to become familiar with the site and details of the scope of work. Proposals submitted by CONTRACTOR without visiting the site with Xxx Xxxxxxx will not be considered.

  • Site Visits ‌ The Commission may visit the School at any time and may, at its discretion, conduct site visits and monitoring. When appropriate, the Commission shall make reasonable efforts to provide notice of visits. Otherwise, Transmission Provider may, in its discretion, within 30 days following termination of Interconnection Service, require the removal of all or any part of the Interconnection Facilities.

  • PUBLIC FACILITIES Supplier’s employees may be required to perform work at government- owned facilities, including schools. Supplier’s employees and agents must conduct themselves in a professional manner while on the premises, and in accordance with Participating Entity policies and procedures, and all applicable laws.

  • Trading Facilities Most open-outcry and electronic trading facilities are supported by computer-based component systems for the order-routing, execution, matching, registration or clearing of trades. As with all facilities and systems, they are vulnerable to temporary disruption or failure. Your ability to recover certain losses may be subject to limits on liability imposed by the system provider, the market, the clearing house and/or member firms.   • Purpose of Interconnection Facilities Except as may be required by Applicable Laws and Regulations, or as otherwise agreed to among the Parties, the Interconnection Facilities shall be constructed for the sole purpose of interconnecting the Large Generating Facility to the Participating TO’s Transmission System and shall be used for no other purpose.
