Overtime for casual. The parties agree that casual employees shall be entitled to overtime pay only for hours worked in excess of ten (10) hours per day or as provided for by the terms of an extended hours permit obtained by the Employer pursuant to the Labour StandardsAct. LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING Between: PUBLIC SERVICE ALLIANCE OF CANADA and HAMLET OF Re: Third Funded The parties recognize that during the life of the Agreement "third party" funding levels, their reduction or elimination, may affect the Employer's staffing requirement, hours of work and/or wages and benefits payable. Therefore the parties agree that where a funding level impedes the Employer's ability to continue such employment, the parties will meet to discuss options with a view to retaining such employment. The Employer and the Union may jointly agree to set wages, benefit levels or any other terms or conditions of employment, if so required, which differ from those described in the Agreement. Such agreement will form a Memorandum of Understanding and be incorporated into the Agreement. Nothing in this memorandum supercedes the rights of the Employer to cancel any such program. LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING Between: PUBLIC SERVICE ALLIANCE OF CANADA and HAMLET OF Re: Negotiations for Future Shift Work If the Employer determines that it is necessary to implement shifts in the future, the parties will negotiate the terms of an article to provide for shift work. If the parties fail to reach agreement within sixty (60) days from the date on which the Employer submits the issue to the Union, the Employer may implement the shifts and the Union may refer the matter to arbitration. The arbitrator's decision will be retroactive to the date of implementation of the shifts. LETTER OF CLARIFICATION Between: PUBLIC SERVICE ALLIANCE OF CANADA and HAMLET OF Re: Work on Paid for CARS Where a CARS employee is required to work on a designated paid holiday shall be paid at rate of pay at time and one-half, plus the day's pay for the designated paid holiday.

  • Overtime Meals When employees are required to work more than two (2) hours beyond their regular work days, the Employer will provide hot meals at no cost to the employees, up to a maximum of sixteen dollars ($16.00) (receipts to be submitted) plus paid meal periods of one-half (1/2) hour at the prevailing rate and thereafter at four (4) hour intervals. Any early morning start before regular starting time is entitled to a paid meal. The breakfast limit is thirteen dollars ($13.00) (receipts to be submitted). Employees called out on overtime shall be paid for meals as above, after four (4) hours work.

  • Overtime Meal Employees requested to work more than two (2) hours overtime after completion of their regular shift, will be given one-half (1/2) hour on Company time to eat their lunch and will be given seven dollars ($7.00) meal money.

  • Overtime for Part Time Employees Part-time employees working less than seven (7) hours per day, and who are required to work in excess of their regularly scheduled hours, shall be paid at the rate of straight-time for the hours so worked up to and including seven (7) hours in the working day. Regular overtime rates would apply after seven (7) hours in the day and for all work performed on Statutory holidays and days off designated by the College. Any employee working more than thirty-five (35) hours in a week shall receive overtime after the thirty-five (35) hours.

  • Overtime for Part-Time Employees (a) A part-time employee working less than the normal hours per day of a full-time employee, and who is required to work longer than their regular workday, shall be paid at the rate of straight-time for the hours so worked, up to and including the normal hours in the workday of a full-time employee.

  • Use of Vacation Leave for Sick Leave Purposes The Employer may allow an employee who has used all of his or her sick leave to use vacation leave for sick leave purposes as provided in Article 12.2 A. An employee who has used all of his or her sick leave may use vacation leave for sick leave purposes as provided in Article 12.2 B – H.

  • Overtime Pay a) A casual employee shall be entitled to overtime pay in accordance with Article 27.05 in the following circumstances:

  • Overtime Overtime will begin to accrue after sixty (60) hours in a two (2) week period averaged over the scheduling period determined by the local parties. Overtime will apply if the employee works in excess of the normal daily hours. Payment for overtime is as in Article 16.01.

  • Overtime Meal Allowance ‌ An employee who works two and one-half hours of overtime immediately before or following his/her scheduled hours of work shall receive a meal allowance of seven dollars. One-half hour with pay shall be allowed the employee in order that he/she may take a meal break either at or adjacent to his/her place of work.

  • Overtime Meal Allowances (a) An Employee who is required to work a minimum of two and one-half (2½) hours overtime before or after his/her scheduled hours of work, shall be provided with a meal or shall be reimbursed nine dollars ($9.00). A meal break of one-half (½) hour with pay shall be given at the overtime rate. This section shall not apply to an Employee who is on travel status which entitles him/her to claim for lodging and/or meals.

  • Overtime Work A. Overtime pay is to be paid at the rate of one and one- half (1½) times the basic hourly straight-time rate.
