Pay for Unused Leave. A teacher will be paid a stipend for all unused leave upon retirement, resignation, or accumulation of 90 days of unused leave. The following provisions apply:

Pay for Unused Leave. Unused credited leave shall be paid for under any one or more of the following conditions:
Pay for Unused Leave. Teachers who have reached the maximum number of accumulated leave days will be paid $80 per day for unused current leave days that exceed the maximum accumulation at the end of each year. Payment for these days will be made on or before June 30th of each year. Starting in the 2021-2022 school year, when a teacher retires from the District after 15 years or more of full time equivalency service as a teacher, the teacher shall receive $50 per day for each day of accumulated and unused leave. However, a teacher will not be entitled to receive payment for accumulated leave if the teacher fails to fulfill his or her employment contract or fails to submit a written resignation on or before the date established by Kansas Statute. Payment for these days will be made on or before June 30th of each year.
Pay for Unused Leave. Teachers who have completed ten (10) years or more of employment with the Employer, who retire under the Michigan Public School Employees Retirement System shall, upon retirement, be paid $150.00 per day for up to sixty-five (65) days plus 1/5 of earned, but unused, leave over sixty-five (65) days, up to a total of 100 days.
Pay for Unused Leave. All Classified employees shall have the choice of either accumulating annual vacation days/hours or receiving financial remuneration at the end of the contract year or having the option to receive financial remuneration for the accumulation of two (2) vacation days/hours earned from the beginning of the contract school calendar start date until the January pay period.

Teachers who finish a school year with fifty-six (56) or more days up to a maximum of sixty-five (65) days of unused sick leave will be paid for any days in excess of fifty-five (55) days. Part-time Teachers will receive pay for unused sick leave prorated on the basis of their full-time-equivalency. Pay for unused sick leave will be at the rate of forty dollars ($40.00) per day. The Teacher will receive payment in a June direct deposit after payroll calculations have been completed.

  • Compensation for Unused Sick Leave 1. Employees who enter County service after July 1, 1979, shall not be eligible for compensation for any of their unused sick leave credits.

  • Utilization of Sick Leave with Pay Employees who have earned sick leave credits shall be eligible for sick leave for any period of absence from employment due to any of the following reasons: • illness; • bodily injury; • disability resulting from pregnancy; • necessity for medical or dental care; • if the employee is a victim of domestic violence, harassment, sexual assault, or stalking; or the parent or guardian of a minor child or dependent who is a victim of domestic violence, harassment, sexual assault or stalking, pursuant to ORS 659A.270 through 659A.290; • attendance at an employee assistance program; • exposure to contagious disease; • for the emergency repair of personal assistive devices which are medically necessary for the employee to perform assigned duties; • attendance upon members of the employee’s or the employee’s spouse’s immediate family, or the equivalent of each for domestic partners, (parent, wife, husband, children, brother, sister, grandmother, grandfather, grandchild, or another member of the immediate household) where the employee’s presence is required because of illness or death. • parental leave The employee has the duty to insure that they make other arrangements, within a reasonable period of time, for the attendance upon children or other persons in the employee’s care. Certification of an attending physician or practitioner may be required by the Agency to support the employee’s claim for sick leave if the employee is absent in excess of seven (7) days, or if the Agency has evidence that the employee is abusing sick leave privileges. The Agency may also require such certificate from an employee to determine whether the employee should be allowed to return to work where the Agency has reason to believe that the employee’s return to work would be a health hazard to either the employee or to others. (See Section 9 for FMLA & OFLA.)
