The required amount of payment in lieu of notice shall equal the amount the Employer would have been required to pay the Employee had they worked through their notice period. That above amount shall be calculated on the basis of the employee's ordinary hours of work. The period of notice in this clause shall not apply in the case of dismissal for serious misconduct to Casual or Fixed-term Employees.
