Personal Illness and Injury Leave. 1. Full-time employees shall be entitled to ten (10) days leave with full-time pay for each school year for purposes of personal illness or injury. Employees who work less than full-time shall be entitled to that portion of the ten (10) days leave as the number of hours per week of scheduled duty relates to the number of hours for a full-time employee in a comparable position.

Personal Illness and Injury Leave. 15.1.1 Unit members employed on a full-time basis shall be entitled to accumulate ten (10) days per school year of sick leave available to the unit member from the first day of each year. Sick leave may be used by the unit member for personal illness or injury. Sick leave that is not used shall accumulate from year to year without limit.

Full time employees receive full pay for sick leave. Personal Illness and Injury Leave. 7.2.1 It is understood and agreed that use of paid illness leave under Section 7.2 is reserved to instances where an employee, due to illness or accident, is unable to perform his/her assigned duties.
Personal Illness and Injury Leave. 11.4.1 Full-time regular/contract unit members shall be entitled to ten (10) days leave with full pay for each school year for purposes of personal illness or injury. Full-time unit members who work an eleven (11) or twelve (12) month year as part of their regular schedule shall be entitled to eleven (11) or twelve (12) days of leave respectively. For purposes of accrual and use of personal illness and injury leave, one (1) day is equal to six (6) hours. Regular/contract faculty on an approved reduction in workload or whose regular load is not full-time will have accrual for personal illness or injury prorated.

For the purpose of this Section, “full pay”, with regard to part-time employees, is based on the employee’s regular assigned daily hours, e.g., a four (4) hour aide would receive four (4) hours pay for an authorized day of sick leave.
