Powers and authority. (a) Subject to Section 2.09 hereof, the Trust has been created for the purpose of purchasing and owning student loans, issuing Notes from time to time, pledging its interest in student loans and other collateral under the terms of the Indenture to secure the Notes and performing activities that are necessary, suitable or convenient to accomplish those purposes, including without limitation, the following:
