Radio survey and certification of non. convention cargo ships In accordance with excerpts from the Norwegian Passenger and Cargo Ship Legislation, ref. Part 3.1.1 Regulations of 22 December 2014 No. 1893 on supervision and certificates for Norwegian ships and mobile offshore units Chapter 3 sections 8 and 9, cf. Part 3.3 Regulations of 1 July 2014 No. 955 on Radiocommunication Equipment for Norwegian Ships and Mobile Offshore Units Applicable to: Cargo ships with gross tonnage less than 300 upon request by the owner or his deputy. When radio survey and certification services are requested by the owner, the authorisation may also apply to ships not in class located in ports outside Norway. Scope: • Approval of drawings. • Initial survey. • Renewal survey. • Periodical survey. • Issuance of a full-term non-convention cargo ship safety radio certificate. • Issuance of a short term non-convention cargo ship safety radio certificate. • Endorsement of existing non-convention cargo ship safety radio certificate. • Issuance of exemption certificate after consultation with the NMA only.
