Re-examination or Re-testing of Work Covered Without Consent of Design Professional. If any Work should be covered without approval or consent of the Design Professional or contrary to any provision of the Contract Documents, such Work must be uncovered for examination by the Design Professional at the Contractor’s expense. The Contractor shall be liable for the costs resulting from the aforesaid uncovering, including, but not limited to, the salary, professional fees, and travel and living expenses of the person or parties inconvenienced thereby.

The CM/GC shall be liable for the costs resulting from the aforesaid uncovering, including, but not limited to, the salary, professional fees, and travel and living expenses of the person or parties inconvenienced thereby.
