Common use of Review by the Bank of Procurement Decisions Clause in Contracts

Review by the Bank of Procurement Decisions. Except as the Bank shall otherwise determine by notice to the Borrower, the following contracts shall be subject to Prior Review by the Bank: (a) each contract for goods estimated to cost the equivalent of $500,000 or more; (b) each contract for works estimated to cost the equivalent of $5,000,000 or more; (c) each contract for consultants’ services provided by a firm estimated to cost the equivalent of $200,000 or more; and each contract for consultants’ services provided by a firm to be procured using Single-source Selection procedure, regardless of its contract value; (d) each contract for consultants’ services provided by an individual estimated to cost the equivalent of $50,000 or more; and (e) the first contract to be procured using any procurement method mentioned in this Schedule, regardless of its contract value. In addition, terms of reference for consulting contracts, regardless of their contract value or procurement methods, will be subject to the Bank’s prior review. All other contracts shall be subject to Post Review by the Bank.

All other contracts shall be subject to Post Review by the Bank.

In addition, terms of reference for consulting contracts, regardless of their contract value or procurement methods, will be subject to the Bank’s prior reviewSource Selection. All other contracts not mentioned in the precedent paragraphs herein, shall be subject to Post Review by the Bank.

In addition, terms of reference for consulting contracts, regardless of their contract value or procurement methods, will be subject to the Bank’s prior reviewthereof. All other contracts shall be subject to Post Review by the Bank. With respect to each consulting contract not subject to the Bank’s prior review, prior to the selection of a consulting firm or an individual consultant, the Borrower shall furnish the terms of reference for said consulting firm or individual consultant to the Bank for its no-objection.

Except as the Bank Association shall otherwise determine by notice to the BorrowerRecipient, the terms of reference of each contract for consultants’ services and the following contracts shall be subject to Prior Review by the BankAssociation: (a) each contract for goods estimated to cost the equivalent of $500,000 250,000 or more; (b) each contract for works estimated to cost the equivalent of $5,000,000 500,000 or more; (c) the first three (3) contracts for goods or works, respectively, procured on the basis of National Competitive Bidding or Shopping, respectively; (d) each contract for goods or works procured on the basis of Direct Contracting; (e) each contract for consultants’ services provided by a firm estimated to cost the equivalent of $200,000 100,000 or more; and each contract for consultants’ services provided by a firm to be procured using Single-source Selection procedure, regardless of its contract value; (df) each contract for consultants’ services provided by an individual consultant estimated to cost the equivalent of $50,000 or more; and (eg) each contract for consultants’ services procured on the first contract to be procured using any procurement method mentioned in this Schedule, regardless basis of its contract value.
