Common use of Scheduling of Meetings Clause in Contracts

Scheduling of Meetings. Committee meetings will be scheduled at the request of either party within ten (10) working days from the date of the request unless another mutually agreeable date beyond this ten (10) day window is mutually acceptable to both parties. The party requesting the meeting shall submit an agenda to the Vice Chancellor, Human Resources at the time the request for a meeting of the Committee is made but in any event at least three (3) working days prior to the meeting. The agenda shall contain sufficient detail to allow others serving on the Committee to understand the nature of the matter(s) to be discussed and/or resolved. Meetings shall be held at times agreeable to the parties. These meetings shall include matters covered by Government Code Section 3543.2 and shall be informational and exempt from the Grievance Procedure herein.
