Common use of Shop Drawings Clause in Contracts

Shop Drawings. Consulting Engineer/Architect shall review and take appropriate action on contractor's shop drawings and samples, and the results of tests and inspections and other data which each contractor is required to submit for the purposes of checking for compliance with the design concept and conformance with the requirements of the Contract Documents. Such review shall not extend to means, methods, sequences, techniques or procedures of construction, or to safety precautions and programs incident thereto, unless an obvious deficiency exists wherein Consulting Engineer/Architect will advise City of such defect or deficiency so the same can be prevented.
