Software Use. Case Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Supported on physical hardware solely to support virtual quests. Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization is designed to run and manage virtual instances and does not support user-space applications. Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization may be used as a virtual desktop infrastructure solution, however, the Subscription does not come with any software or support for the desktop operating system. You must purchase the operating system for each instance of a desktop or server separately.

Software Use. Case Red Hat Enterprise Linux – Academic Edition Red Hat Enterprise Linux – Academic Edition Subscriptions are supported for use by qualified academic institutions for teaching and learning purposes that consist of (a) faculty, staff, or student laptops or desktops for personal and academic use, (b) computer labs available to faculty, staff, and students for general education use, (c) classroom desktops, (d) laboratories for technical and research use and/or (e) laboratories for software development use. Red Hat Enterprise Linux – Academic Edition is not supported when used for any purpose other than as described in (a) – (e) above. Qualified academic institutions must be accredited by a national accreditation agency (e.g. the United States accreditation is located at xxxx://xxx.xx.xxx/accreditation/Search.aspx). Note: When you use Red Hat Enterprise Linux – Academic Edition for non-qualified academic purposes as described above, standard Red Hat Enterprise Linux subscription rates apply. Software Use. If the contract awarded by the Buyer to the Seller or the order placed by the Buyer with the Seller provides for the supply of software, the Buyer will be granted a non-exclusive right to use said software and any documentation of said software. Said software will be supplied by the Seller to the Buyer for use with the Goods delivered by the Seller to the Buyer provided that the Buyer shall not have the right to use said software on more than one system. Any copying, modification or translation of said software or any conversion of the object code of said software into source code shall be limited as provided for in Section 69 et seq. of the German Copyright Act. The Buyer agrees not to remove from said software any reference to the developer of said software such as, without limitation, any copyright reference and not to modify any such reference unless the prior express content of the Seller has been obtained. Any other rights associated with such software and any documentation of said software and any copies thereof shall remain vested in the Seller or the supplier of said software as the case may be. The Buyer shall not grant any sublicense.
Software Use. Licensee is authorized to use the Pitney Xxxxx Software and the User Manual (as defined in Section 1.4) solely for its own internal operations at the location(s) indicated in the Sales/Lease Agreement, this Agreement or any applicable Statement of Work or Statement of Work Addendum (collectively, a "SOW'). Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Pitney Xxxxx Software may only be installed and used outside of the United States when the base application of the Pitney Xxxxx Software is installed within the United States. Licensee shall not use the Pitney Xxxxx Software in the operation of a time-sharing or service bureau arrangement or as an application service provider. Licensee shall not allow access to the Pitney Xxxxx Software through any other means than those indicated in the Sales/Lease Agreement or in any applicable SOW. If this License is for a designated computer system, no authorization is required from Pitney Xxxxx to transfer the Pitney Xxxxx Software from one computer system to another at such location(s). However, transfer of the Pitney Xxxxx Software to another Licensee location shall require prior written consent of Pitney Xxxxx, which shall not be unreasonably withheld. Upon completion of the transfer, Licensee shall certify to Pitney Xxxxx in writing that all copies of the Pitney Xxxxx Software at the prior location were either transferred to the new location or destroyed.
Software Use. All software in use on the District’s Technology Resources is officially licensed software. No software is to be installed or used that has not been duly paid for and licensed appropriately for the use to which it is being put. No employee may load any software on the District’s computers, by means of transmission, unless authorized in writing in advance by the Director of Information Technology. Authorization for loading software onto the District’s computers should not be given until the software to be loaded has been thoroughly scanned for viruses.
Software Use. You may receive Software from Dell, which must be installed in Your environment to enable You to use the Service Offering. If the Service Offering includes Software that is licensed by Dell to You, then You will only use such Software: (i) in connection with Your use of the Service Offering and as provided in the Agreement; (ii) for the Subscription Term; and (iii) in accordance with Dell’s End User License Agreement (“XXXX”). You must not: (1) resell or rent the use of the Service Offering; or (2) use the Service Offering in support of an offering, or for a purpose, which is intended to compete with Dell’s Service Offering business.
