Soils Report. A soils report for the Land prepared by a soils engineer approved by the Lender, which report shall indicate that, based upon actual surface and subsurface examinations of the Land, the soils conditions are fully satisfactory for the proposed construction and operation of the Improvements in accordance with the Plans and Specifications.

The geotechnical engineer shall review the final Construction Documents for conformance to the report. Verification of the submittal to the geotechnical engineer shall be made in writing to Owner.

Soils Report. The SUBDIVIDER shall cause to be made and pay for soil tests made by a reputable soils testing laboratory to determiner gradation, bearing, and resistance value of soils within the subdivision from which to determine the nature of the improvements. The SUBDIVIDER shall also cause to be made and pay for all compaction tests necessary to determine that all soils including the utility trenches have been satisfactorily backfilled.
Soils Report. 5.6.1 The Forest Service will prepare a soils report describing the general distribution of soil types within the project area, sensitive soil types that must be considered per Deschutes LRMP Standard and Guidelines (S&Gs), existing soil conditions, and the project’s expected impacts to soil resources.

Specifically, the following tasks will be performed: ▪ Review general notes, title block, signature block, benchmark data, quantities, unit costs, vicinity map, index map, and other general requirements. ▪ Check plans for compliance with general design criteria established by the County standards for underground wet utilities. ▪ Check to assure that plans reflect all required improvements as shown on the approved tentative map and in the subdivision resolution. ▪ Check data shown on plans for consistency with previously approved plans and the record map. ▪ Review available sewer study against the sewer improvement plans, including capacities, minimum slopes, geometry, manhole spacing, pipe size and types. ▪ Review proposed sewer plans for conformance with County's approved master plan of sewers. ▪ Review the proposed improvements for constructability; require redesign of any proposed improvement when the plans propose a situation where the improvement is not buildable, conflicts with an existing improvement, creates a public hazard or nuisance, creates a maintenance problem, creates a potentially unsafe condition, or will not function due to an inadequate level of engineering. ▪ Check for accuracy of design and fit with existing improvements and underground utilities. ▪ Point out conflicts, mistakes, inaccuracies, and omissions on the plans. ▪ Check stationing and alignments of the sewer improvements for agreement with the record map and record data. ▪ Review plans for any special conditions which could be anticipated during construction such as street closures, protection of existing utilities, etc.
