Work Site Safety. The Contractor shall take all necessary precaution for the safety of employees on the work site and shall comply with all applicable provisions of federal, state, and local regulations, ordinances, and codes. The Contractor shall erect and properly maintain, at all times, as required by the conditions and progress of the work, all necessary safeguards for the protection of workers and the public and shall post danger signs warning against known and unusual hazards.

Work Site Safety. Client is the sole Employer with respect to safety-related compliance. Client retains exclusive control over the safety of the workplace(s) where Covered Employees work, and thus retains sole responsibility for compliance with applicable health and safety Laws relating to the workplace (Workplace Safety Laws). Client is solely responsible to identify and eliminate all known workplace threats to Covered Employees’ health or safety. Client acknowledges and agrees that Client has not retained BBSI to manage or control Client’s business or operations, and BBSI has no duty or authority to inspect, install, modify, repair, or maintain any equipment, tools, vehicles, facilities, properties, other workplace or machinery that Covered Employees may use or work. BBSI, without assuming or undertaking any responsibility or liability, reserves the right to inspect Client’s workplace for the sole purpose of verifying compliance with the terms of this Agreement. Any inspections that BBSI or its workers’ compensation insurance carrier may conduct are not for the purpose of identifying the unique threats to the health and safety of Covered Employees that may exist in Client’s workplace(s), thus such inspections would not fulfill a requirement for a full safety audit or inspection under applicable Laws. Thus, Client shall, at its sole cost and expense, take all necessary steps to comply with Workplace Safety Laws, including the following:
Work Site Safety. Client is in compliance with all applicable Workplace Safety Laws, and Client has maintained, and will continue to maintain throughout the term of this Agreement, Client’s workplace(s), machinery, equipment, and environmental factors in compliance with applicable Workplace Safety Laws.

The City requires this Endorsement to complete the Contract. CONFLICTS of INTEREST and NON-COMPETITIVE PRACTICES Conflicts of Interest and Non-Competitive Practices Conflict of Interest - By entering into this Contract to perform Work, the Contractor represents that it has no direct or indirect pecuniary or proprietary interest, and that it shall not acquire any such interest, that conflicts in any manner or degree with the Work required to be performed under this Contract. The Contractor shall not employ any Person or agent having any conflict of interest. In the event that the Contractor or its agents, employees or officers hereafter acquires such a conflict of interest, it shall immediately disclose such conflict to the City. The City shall require that the Contractor take immediate action to eliminate the conflict.
Work Site Safety. (i) All workers shall wear safety vest, approved by the Village, when operating on behalf of the Village within or on any rights-of-way within the Village of Lake Villa. All employees shall wear required protective equipment as prescribed in the latest version of the ANSI Standard Z.133.1. The Contractor shall be solely and completely responsible for providing and maintaining safe conditions at the Project work site, including but not limited to the safety of all persons, property or the Work at or adjacent to the work site during performance of the Work on the Project. All decisions relating to safe work operations, the use and proper application of equipment and materials, and the protection of the general public from work operations shall be the responsibility of the Contractor. This requirement shall apply continuously and shall not be limited to normal working hours. Contractor shall take all safety precautions as shall be necessary to comply with all applicable laws and to prevent injury to persons and damage to property.
Work Site Safety. CODES AND STANDARDS The contractor shall: .1 execute all work in accordance with Alberta Building Code and Supplements, and all codes and standards specified with the text of this specification.
