SUBJECT: Interlocal Agreement for the Use of Equipment and Services between the Cities of Euless and Bedford SUBMITTED BY: Loretta Getchell, City Manager REFERENCE NO: ACTION REQUESTED: Consider authorizing the City Manager to negotiate and execute an Interlocal Agreement with the City of Bedford for use of equipment and services. ALTERNATIVES: ▪ Table the request▪ Deny the request SUMMARY OF SUBJECT: This interlocal agreement would provide Euless and Bedford the opportunity to share equipment, services, personnel or facilities due to occasional circumstances such as unforeseen damage, inability to obtain parts, delays in delivery of purchased or leased equipment, or unanticipated needs. Pursuant to this Agreement, each city would have the ability to request equipment and services from the other city in order to more efficiently provide services on an “as needed basis”.
