Card Brand definition

Card Brand means Visa Inc., MasterCard International, Inc., Discover Financial Services, Inc., American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc., any debit network through which transactions may be routed, and the subsidiaries, successors, and assigns of the foregoing.
Card Brand means Visa Canada Corporation and Visa, Inc., MasterCard International Inc., DFS Services LLC, UnionPay International Co., Ltd., Acxsys Corporation, the Interac Association, Amex Bank of Canada and their respective Affiliates, successors and assigns, as applicable based on the acquiring services we provide to you.
Card Brand means any entity issuing a payment card to a cardholder, including without limitation, Visa, MasterCard, JCB, Discover and American Express.

  • Without limiting the foregoing, the Card Brands have the right to enforce any Rule and to prohibit User from engaging in any conduct it deems could create a risk of injury to the Card Brand, including injury to reputation, or that could adversely affect the integrity of the interchange system or the Card Brand’s confidential information, and User will not take any action that could interfere with or prevent a Card Brand’s exercise of such right.

More Definitions of Card Brand

Card Brand means any payment network(s) through which Card transactions may be authorized and settled.
Card Brand means any operator of a payment card network, such as Visa, Discover, or Mastercard. Each Party will comply with the rules, by-laws, and standards of any applicable Card Brand (“Card Brand Rules”). In addition, each Party will comply with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (“PCI DSS”), to the extent applicable to the Party’s performance of its obligations under this [***] Addendum. Upon Marqeta’s request (no more than [***]), Client Affiliate will verify its compliance with PCI DSS, to the extent applicable, and provide the results of the verification to Marqeta in writing.
Card Brand is any payment method provider whose payment method is accepted by Vantiv for processing, including, but not limited to, Visa, U.S.A., Inc., MasterCard International, Inc., Discover Financial Services, LLC and other credit and debit card providers, debit network providers, gift card and other stored value and loyalty program providers. Card Brand also includes the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council. “Card Brand Rules” are the bylaws, rules, and regulations, as they exist from time to time, of the Card Brands.

Card Brand means the primary card brand network for the program.
Card Brand means the name of the payment scheme settlor that is printed on the issued branded credit, debit and/or prepaid cards.
Card Brand means Visa, MasterCard, Discover Network, or any other Card Issuers that provide Cards that are accepted by Merchant by agreement with PayNearMe.
