Casual Nurse definition

Casual Nurse means a Nurse who is not regularly scheduled to work and who is employed under an arrangement whereby the person may elect to work or not when requested to do so.
Casual Nurse as defined in clause 3501.

  • Where a Casual Nurse in a Temporary Position is appointed directly to a Regular Position, Regular Seniority shall be deemed to be the first day of continuous service in a Temporary Position.

  • The Casual Nurse must pre-apply in writing in order to participate in the Incentive.

Casual Nurse is defined as a Nurse who is a member of the bargaining unit as defined in 5 Articles 3 and 15 of this Collective Bargaining Agreement and is scheduled to work on an as 6 needed basis with no assigned FTE.
