Casual Trader definition

Casual Trader means a person who, whether as principal, agent or in any other capacity undertakes occasional transactions in the nature of business involving buying, selling, supply or distribution of goods or conducting any exhibition-cum- sale in Andaman and Nicobar Islands whether for cash, deferred payment, commission, remuneration or other valuable consideration;

Examples of Casual Trader in a sentence

  • In the allocation of a Permanent Stall to a Casual Trader and in the event of more than one interested party, account will be taken of the Trader’s starting date and number of casual attendances.

  • The purchaser of the business will be classed as a Casual Trader and would not therefore be guaranteed the same Plot or holiday entitlement as the vendor of the business.

  • A surcharge will be applied to any Casual Trader who attends the Market without having booked and paid in advance (no later than the previous Market Day) and who is allocated a Plot.

More Definitions of Casual Trader

Casual Trader means a stallholder who is allowed to stand for the day of market only and has agreed to comply in full with the Councils Regulations relating to the payment of rents and the operation of the market. They have the right on application to be placed on the waiting list to become a registered trader. They will not be placed within 48ft from a stallholder who sells the same commodity, nor will they be put in a space held by an absent registered stallholder who sells the same commodity.
