City Events. – means events funded or organized by the City or Members of Council, including events that may be jointly organized with community organizations or with external sponsors. City events include, but are not limited to: community meetings and consultations; parks, recreation or cultural facility openings or celebrations; and Community Environment Days. Events organized by City agencies and corporations are not considered City events for the purpose of this policy.
City Events means city-organized and sponsored events designed to promote the city and foster a stronger sense of community in the city.
City Events means events and/or programs that are coordinated by City staff, which may or may not be in cooperation with local organizations, with City funds, and for which all revenues generated from the events and/or programs are returned to the City’s general fund. City Events include, but are not limited to, Rock the Block, July 4th Parade, Fall Festival, Derby Q, Festival of Lights and Carols, Chocolate Lover’s Festival, Hometown Holiday Market, Hometown Thursdays, Sundays in the Park, Kidz Korner, and other events and/or programs that may be established as City Events (or the equivalent) in the City Code or as designated by the City Council from time to time.
Examples of City Events in a sentence
The City shall be exclusively responsible for marketing City Events.
The City shall have exclusive ownership and control over Broadcast Rights associated with City Events.
All costs incurred in connection with the broadcast of City Events shall be the responsibility of the City.
The City Events Team has assessed the proposed events with regard to their contribution towards Council’s strategies and policies.
Club shall have use of all video and electronic signage at all times other than during City Events.
More Definitions of City Events
City Events means those events and activities contracted for by the City. These shall include, but shall not be limited to, amateur baseball and softball games, City-sponsored events, and other meetings, gatherings, or events that serve a community-enhancing purpose.
City Events means events hosted or sponsored by the City and for which the City has second priority to use the Property, as detailed in Section 7(c).
City Events means has the meaning ascribed to it in Section 5.7(a)(iii) hereof.
City Events means, collectively, City Civic Events and City Minor Events. "City Event Services" is defined in Section 1.2(E).
