Day Nursery definition

Day Nursery means a premises that receives more than five children who are not of common parentage, primarily for the purpose of providing temporary care, or guidance, or both temporary care and guidance, for a continuous period not exceeding twenty-four hours, where the children are,
Day Nursery means a place that receives for temporary custody for a continuous period, not exceeding twenty-four hours, more than five children under ten years of age, not of common parentage, and which is not part of a public school, separate school, private school or children's mental health centre, but shall include "day care centres" and "nursery schools". For the purposes of this Definition:
Day Nursery means an establishment providing temporary care or guidance for more than five children, from a continuous period not exceeding 24 hours and regulated under the Day Nurseries Act.

More Definitions of Day Nursery

Day Nursery means the same as “nursery school.” (Ord. 1971 § 2, 2005)
Day Nursery means any institution operated for the purpose of providing care and maintenance to children separated from their parent, guardian or custodian during a part of the day for two or more consecutive weeks, except a school or other bona fide education institution. Licensing is required for In-Home Day Care and Child Day Care Centers meeting these specifications:
