Pharmacy technician or “technician” means a person who is employed in Iowa by a licensed pharmacy under the responsibility of an Iowa-licensed pharmacist to assist in the technical functions of the practice of pharmacy, and who is registered pursuant to 657—Chapter 3, and includes a certified pharmacy technician, a pharmacy technician trainee, and an uncertified pharmacy technician.
Nail technician means any person who for compensation manicures or pedicures natural nails, or who performs artificial nail services for compensation, or any combination thereof.
Pharmacy technician trainee or “technician trainee” means an individual who is in training to become a pharmacy technician and who is in the process of acquiring national certification as a pharmacy technician as provided in rule 657—3.5(155A).
Certified pharmacy technician or “certified technician” means an individual who holds a valid current national certification and who has registered with the board as a certified pharmacy technician.
Technician means an individual determined to be qualified to remove or process parts by an appropriate organization that is licensed, accredited, or regulated under federal or state law. The term includes an enucleator.

Controlled technical information means technical information with military or space application that is subject to controls on the access, use, reproduction, modification, performance, display, release, disclosure, or dissemination. Controlled technical information would meet the criteria, if disseminated, for distribution statements B through F using the criteria set forth in DoD Instruction 5230.24, Distribution Statements on Technical Documents. The term does not include information that is lawfully publicly available without restrictions.
Professional Technologist means a person holding registration as Professional Engineering Technologist in terms of the Engineering Profession Act, 2000.
Emergency medical technician means a person who is either an EMT-I, EMT-II, or EMT-P (paramedic), and possesses a valid certificate or license in accordance with the standards of Division 2.5 (commencing with Section 1797) of the Health and Safety Code.
Inventor , in relation to an invention, means the actual deviser of the invention and “joint inventor” shall be construed accordingly;

Optician means any person licensed in the province in which the service is rendered to supply eyeglasses prescribed by a physician or optometrist to improve visual acuity, to grind or mould the lenses or have them ground or moulded according to prescription, to fit them into frames and to adjust the frames to fit the face;
Speech pathologist means a person who engages in the application of principles, methods, and procedures for the measurement, testing, evaluation, prediction, consultation, counseling, instruction, habilitation, rehabilitation, or remediation related to the development and disorders of speech, fluency, voice, or language for the purpose of nonmedically evaluating, preventing, ameliorating, modifying, or remediating such disorders and conditions in individuals or groups of individuals.
Proprietary Technology means the technical innovations that are unique and
Developed Technology means any Technology including, without limitation, any enhancements, substitutions or improvements to the Core Technology that is (a) discovered, developed or otherwise acquired by DURA pursuant to the terms of the Development Agreement or (b) otherwise acquired by or on behalf of Xxxxxx Corp. II during the term of the Development Agreement.

Licensee Know-How means all Information that is: (a) Controlled by Licensee or its Affiliates as of the Effective Date or during the Term that is not publicly known, even though parts thereof may be known, and (b) necessary to develop, make, have made, use, sell, offer to sell, have sold, import or export the Product. “Licensee Know-How” does not include Licensee Patent Rights.
Contractor means the individual or entity, that has entered into this contract with the Commonwealth.
Company Technology means all Technology owned or purported to be owned by the Company.
