Environmental Hazard definition

Environmental Hazard means any substance the presence, use, transport, abandonment or disposal of which (i) requires investigation, remediation, compensation, fine or penalty under any Applicable Law (including, without limitation, the Comprehensive Environmental Response Compensation and Liability Act, Superfund Amendment and Reauthorization Act, Resource Conservation Recovery Act, the Occupational Safety and Health Act and provisions with similar purposes in applicable foreign, state and local jurisdictions) or (ii) poses risks to human health, safety or the environment (including, without limitation, indoor, outdoor or orbital space environments) and is regulated under any Applicable Law.
Environmental Hazard means (i) the presence of petroleum vapors or other gases in hazardous concentrations in a manhole or other confined space, or conditions reasonably likely to give rise to such concentrations, (ii) asbestos containing materials, or (iii) any potential hazard that would not be obvious to an individual entering the work location or detectable using work practices standard in the industry.
Environmental Hazard means the presence at, in or under any Underlying Collateral (whether held in fee simple or subject to a ground lease or otherwise, and including any improvements whether by buildings or facilities, and any personal property, fixtures, leases and other property or rights pertaining thereto), of any “hazardous substance,” as such term is defined in Section 101(14) of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act of 1980, 42 U.S.C. §9601(14), or any petroleum (including crude oil or any fraction thereof that is liquid at standard conditions of temperature and pressure), at a level or in an amount that requires remediation or abatement pursuant to applicable Law.

Environmental Hazard means: (i) the presence of petroleum vapors or other gases in hazardous concentrations in a manhole or other confined space, or conditions reasonably likely to give rise to such concentrations; (ii) the presence of electrical cable in a conduit system; (iii) asbestos-containing materials; (iv) emergency exit routes and warning systems, if and to the extent owned or operated by SBC ILLINOIS; and (v) any potential hazard that would not be obvious to an individual entering the Work Location or detectable using work practices standard in the industry.
Environmental Hazard means a chemical or other substance for which scientific, peer-reviewed studies of humans, animals, or cells have demonstrated that the chemical is known or reasonably anticipated to adversely impact human health.
