Government Property definition

Government Property means all property owned or leased by the Government. Government property includes both Government-furnished and Contractor-acquired property. Government property includes material, equipment, special tooling, special test equipment, and real property. Government property does not include intellectual property and software.
Government Property means anything supplied to the Contractor by or on behalf of Canada for the purposes of performing the Contract and anything acquired by the Contractor in any manner in connection with the Work, the cost of which is paid by Canada under the Contract;
Government Property means anything issued or otherwise furnished in connection with the Contract by or on behalf of the Authority, including but not limited to documents, papers, data issued in electronic form and other materials;

Examples of Government Property in a sentence

  • FAR Part 45 does not apply to Government property that is incidental to the place of performance, when the task order requires Contractor personnel to be located on a Government site or installation, and when the property used by the Contractor within the location remains accountable to the Government.

  • Subject to any specified time schedule or location where the Work is to be performed as may be set forth in Schedule “A” attached hereto, the Work is to be performed on Government property and the Contractor shall follow the same time schedule as applicable to employees of Government.
