Health Network definition

Health Network means a physician group, physician-hospital consortium or health care service plan, such as an HMO, which is contracted with CalOptima to provide items and services to non-COD Members on a capitated basis.
Health Network means the company herein incorporated, also known as the PEI French Health Network;
Health Network means collectively all the Health Units in the Borrower’s territory.

  • CalOptima or a Member’s Health Network shall pay County for LHA Services provided to CalOptima Members, in accordance with Attachment B.

  • County and CalOptima Responsibilities CATEGORY County Family Planning Clinic CalOptima/Health Networks Eligibility/ Client Services County/Family Planning will provide family planning services to FamilyPACT eligible CalOptima Direct or CalOptima Health Network members choosing to seek such services outside of their Health Network or CalOptima.

  • CalOptima will respond to reports of CalOptima Health Network and provider noncompliance with legal reporting requirements by providing education to the Health Network/provider on the legal reporting requirements.

  • Notwithstanding County’s subcontracted Providers’ representations in any pre-application questionnaire, in this Contract and/or in connection with any Health Network credentialing application, CalOptima reserves the right to verify any and all Minimum Standards and any other credentialing standards CalOptima, in its sole judgment, deems necessary and appropriate to County’s subcontracted Providers’ eligibility to participate in CalOptima’s Programs.

  • For CalOptima Health Network Members, PDS Hospital Liaison will contact Health Network case management with decision.

  • CalOptima recognizes that CalOptima Direct or CalOptima Health Network members have the right to choose to seek their family planning services outside of the Health Network/CalOptima.

  • Upon submission of a Clean Claim, CalOptima or a Member’s Health Network shall pay County pursuant to CalOptima Policies and Attachment B.

  • The CalOptima designated case manager will provide CalOptima Health Networks with the name of the assigned PDS case manager responsible for coordination and oversight of TB care for the CalOptima Member, and will notify the Health Network if the assigned PDS case manager changes.

  • County shall provide LHA Services to both CalOptima’s COD and Health Network Members, and shall submit claims to CalOptima or the Member’s Health Network, respectively, unless otherwise provided in Attachment B.

Health Network. When students provide an insurance card to the CSU Health Network, the Health Network will file claims with the student’s insurance carrier and students are responsible for applicable co-pays, co-insurance, deductibles and any non-covered charges. These charges will be applied to your student account and can be paid through RAMweb or in the billing department at the CSU Health Network. Please note that there may be a delay (60-120 days) for charges to post to your student account based on timing of insurance company processing. If lab work is sent to an outside lab for processing, charges and insurance billing will be determined by that provider and sent directly to you.
Health Network means the electronic information retrieval system used by the Ministry to receive and process claims for payment under the Act;
Health Network is defined in Section 5.14(b) of the Agreement.

  • School health services means health services provided by a qualified school nurse or other qualified person that are designed to enable a child with a disability to receive FAPE as described in the child’s IEP.

  • Mobile Network means a 3G or 4G network or any other mobile communications network which we choose to provide Mobile services.

  • Provider network means an affiliated group of varied health care providers that is established to provide a continuum of health care services to individuals;

  • Health carrier or “carrier” means an entity subject to the insurance laws and regulations of this state, or subject to the jurisdiction of the commissioner, that contracts or offers to contract to provide, deliver, arrange for, pay for or reimburse any of the costs of health care services, including a sickness and accident insurance company, managed care organization, health maintenance organization, a nonprofit hospital or medical service corporation, or any other entity providing a plan of health insurance, health benefits or health care services.

  • Digital network means any online-enabled application, software, website or system offered or utilized by a transportation network company that enables the prearrangement of rides with transportation network company drivers.

  • Telehealth services means the mode of delivering health care services and public health via information and communication technologies to facilitate the diagnosis, consultation, treatment, education, care management, and self-management of a patient's health care while the patient is at the originating site and the provider for telehealth is at a distant site. Telehealth facilitates patient self-management and caregiver support for patients and includes synchronous interactions and asynchronous store and forward transfers.

  • Digital Health has the meaning ascribed to it in the Accountability Agreement and means the coordinated and integrated use of electronic systems, information and communication technologies to facilitate the collection, exchange and management of personal health information in order to improve the quality, access, productivity and sustainability of the healthcare system;

  • Network means the participating providers described in the Provider Directory.

  • Network pharmacy means any pharmacy that has an agreement to accept our pharmacy allowance for prescription drugs and diabetic equipment/supplies covered under this agreement. All other pharmacies are NON-NETWORK PHARMACIES. The one exception and for the purpose of specialty Prescription Drugs, only specialty pharmacies that have an agreement to accept our pharmacy allowance are network pharmacies and all others pharmacies are non-network pharmacies.

  • Health services means, but shall not be limited to, examination, diagnosis, evaluation, treatment, pharmaceuticals, aftercare, habilitation or rehabilitation and mental health therapy of any kind, as well as payment or reimbursement for any such services.

  • Health care worker means a person other than a health care professional who provides medical, dental, or other health-related care or treatment under the direction of a health care professional with the authority to direct that individual's activities, including medical technicians, medical assistants, dental assistants, orderlies, aides, and individuals acting in similar capacities.

  • Transportation network company means a company or organization facilitating and/or providing transportation services using a computer or digital application or platform to connect or match passengers with drivers for compensation or a fee.

  • Network plan means a policy of group health insurance offered by an insurer under which the financing and delivery of medical care, including items and services paid for as medical care, are provided, in whole or in part, through a defined set of providers under contract with the insurer. The term does not include an arrangement for the financing of premiums.

  • Online Services means Microsoft-hosted services to which Customer subscribes under this Agreement. It does not include software and services provided under separate license terms.
