Named person definition

Named person. ’ means the person alleged to have violated the Act.
Named person means that, depending upon the type of information sought, the person making the request has furnished either the name and date of birth of an individual or the registration plate number or VIN of a vehicle.
Named person means a Person to whom a compliance notice or ticket is issued;

Examples of Named person in a sentence

  • A Named Person will normally be the health visitor for a pre-school child and a promoted teacher – such as a head teacher or guidance teacher – for a school age child.

  • Children and young people from birth to 18 and their parents will have access to a Named Person to help them get the support they need.

  • The Provider will ensure that any Named Person shall not, whether during or after their appointment, disclose or allow to be disclosed to any person (except on a confidential basis to their professional advisers) any information of a confidential nature acquired by the Provider or any Named Person in the course of carrying out their duties under this Agreement, except as may be required by law or as directed by the Commissioner.
