Notification of Loss definition

Notification of Loss or "Notification" means the notice, whether verbally or in writing, given by the Cardholder to Caltex or its Authorised Agents of the loss or theft of a STARCARD pursuant to Condition 7 herein provided.
Notification of Loss means a notice in writing by the Cardholder and/or Authorised User on company letterhead with company stamp and authorised signatory sent via fax or via electronic means such as email or Petron Fleet Card Web Portal by the Cardholder to Petron reporting the loss or theft of a Fleet Card pursuant to Clause 6.4 below.
Notification of Loss means communication, as required by the policy or that is otherwise acceptable by the insurer, the report of loss from a claimant or insured to the companyinsurer that identifies the claimant or insured and indicates that a loss has occurred or is occurringabout to occur. "Notification of loss" also means the date that the company is aware of the loss.
