Offer of Appointment definition

Offer of Appointment means a contractual Offer of Appointment for a Graduate Assistantship made in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement. Any Graduate Assistantship funding opportunities identified in an offer of admission to the student’s program of study do not in themselves guarantee an Offer of Appointment to a Graduate Assistantship.

Examples of Offer of Appointment in a sentence

  • Cause includes but is not limited to: a change in the student’s registration status; the student’s failure to perform to academic standards in their program of study; and/or failure to meet the requirements of the Offer of Appointment.

  • Once the candidate indicates her acceptance of the work assignment as per 11.07 (a), the University will issue, in writing (or electronically), the formal Offer of Appointment (Appendix E), no later than five (5) days before the first day of employment.
