Paid time definition

Paid time. The term "paid time" shall mean all time for which an employee receives compensation, including work time and paid leave time.

Paid time means time for which an employee is paid by the Federal Government, including both duty time, in which the employee performs agency business, and taxpayer-funded union time. It does not include time spent on paid or unpaid leave, or an employee's off-duty hours.

Examples of Paid time in a sentence

  • The employee requesting such extended bereavement leave shall be allowed to utilize any Paid Time Off that s/he has accrued and earned.

  • Record Time shall have the meaning set forth in the Recitals.
