Pastoral Care definition

Pastoral Care means the provision of informal, unstructured care, guidance and support offered by You for free to any person seeking Your assistance in the support of their emotional, spiritual or physical well-being.

Pastoral Care means care performed by a member of any religious order that is spiritual in nature or provides spiritual value, which means to counsel others.

More Definitions of Pastoral Care

Pastoral Care means the work involved or the situation which exists when one person has responsibility for the wellbeing of another. This includes the provision of spiritual advice and support, education, counselling, medical care, and assistance in times of need.

Pastoral Care homeroom” refers to home room/tutor group/whatever so called. The Teacher has responsibility for the pastoral care of students. This time is included when calculating a Teacher’s instructional load.

Pastoral Care. Pastoral care is an important part of each Pastoral Charge. The Middle Musquodoboit and Lower Musquodoboit Charges share schools, hospitals, senior homes, etc. within the Valley. This will bring representation from both Charges through the Minister during visitation to these places. Training for pastoral care for members of the congregation can also be combined or shared. The Lower Musquodoboit Charge has already extended the offer of workshops on pastoral care to the Middle Musquodoboit Charge. This would continue for both Charges into the future.
