Period of Hospitalization means a single uninterrupted confinement in a Hospital or several successive confinements in a Hospital as a result of the same Accident, provided each such confinement is separated by a period of less than ninety (90) consecutive days and all such confinements occur within seven hundred and thirty (730) days of the date of the Accident.

Examples of Period of Hospitalization in a sentence

Related to Period of Hospitalization

  • Hospitalization means admission in a Hospital for a minimum period of 24 consecutive ‘In- patient Care’ hours except for specified procedures/ treatments, where such admission could be for a period of less than 24 consecutive hours.

  • Partial Hospitalization means an outpatient program specifically designed for the diagnosis or active treatment of a serious mental disorder when there is a reasonable expectation for improvement or when it is necessary to maintain a patient’s functional level and prevent relapse or full hospitalization.
