Predecessor Bond definition

Predecessor Bond of any particular Bond means every previous Bond evidencing all or a portion of the same debt as that evidenced by such particular Bond; and, for the purposes of this definition, any Bond authenticated and delivered under Section 2.06 in lieu of a lost, destroyed or stolen Bond shall be deemed to evidence the same debt as the lost, destroyed or stolen Bond.

• REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE OF PAYING AGENT/REGISTRAR This Bond has been duly issued and registered in the name of the Registered Owner shown above under the provisions of the within-mentioned Resolution and duly approved, or a Predecessor Bond hereof duly approved, by the Attorney General of the State of Texas and registered by the Comptroller of Public Accounts, as shown by the records of the Paying Agent/Registrar.
