Reason Code definition

Reason Code means a code used by any Card Scheme to classify a specific activity, act or omission, including any code in the Visa Merchant Alert Service and Merchant Alert to Control High-Risk Merchants;
Reason Code is the part of a REQEST ACKNOW or the REQRES ACKNOW which details the reason for the confirmation or rejection of a REQEST or a REQRES, as applicable;
Reason Code means, where the Client is taking the Service via API, the 3 digit code assigned to each Search Reason (as set out in the ThreeSixty Online API Guide);‌

Examples of Reason Code in a sentence

  • Reason Code 1: Carrier has conducted a search for providers and determined that, for each county in the plan service area, there are no providers physically present of the type requested in the waiver.

  • Reason Code 3: Carrier has made a good faith effort to contract with provider and provider has refused to accept a contract.

  • Reason Code 4: Network is an Accountable Care Organization (ACO) or Narrow Network.

  • Reason Code 2: Provider does not meet carrier’s credentialing requirements.

  • customs airport means any airport declared under section 9 to be a customs- airport;

  • JORC Code means the Australasian Code for Reporting of Exploration Results, Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves prepared by the Joint Ore Reserves Committee of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, Australian Institute of Geoscientists and Minerals Council of Australia, as amended;

  • SIC code means “Standard Industrial Classification code,” as assigned to a site by the United States Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration, based on the particular activities that occur on the site, as set forth in its publication “Standard Industrial Classification Manual,” incorporated by reference in Section 720.111(a).

  • customs area means the area of a customs station and includes any area in which imported goods or export goods are ordinarily kept before clearance by customs authorities;

  • customs value means the value as determined in accordance with the 1994 Agreement on implementation of Article VII of the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (WTO Agreement on customs valuation);

  • Supplementary Cardmember means a person who has been nominated by the Cardmember to be issued with an additional Card on the Account and is also covered by the insurance benefits included with the Card.
