Reasonable under the circumstances definition

Reasonable under the circumstances means consideration of what is appropriate in relation to the declarant’s finances, cultural or family customs, and religious or spiritual beliefs. “Reasonable under the circumstances” may include but is not limited to consideration of the declarant’s preneed funeral, burial, or cremation plan, and known or reasonably ascertainable creditors of the declarant.

Examples of Reasonable under the circumstances in a sentence

  • An employee working an average of 10 hours per day is entitled to 14 times 10 hours, or 140 hours.

  • Such notice will be given as far in advance as is Commercially Reasonable under the circumstances (recognizing that there may be circumstances where it is clearly impractical for TVA to defer the taking of such corrective or mitigating action).

  • Any weekly indemnity benefits will be reduced by any Workers’ Compensation benefits received for the same period.
