Teaching experience means full-time employment as a teacher in a public school, private school licensed or accredited by the State Board of Education, or institution of higher education,
Teaching experience means experience in which the licensed teacher is actually instructing pupils in a classroom set- ting on a continuous basis.
Teaching experience shall not include credit given for Related Experience and shall not include experience gained as a Continuing Education Teacher or while on a leave of absence without pay from the Toronto District School Board.

Teaching experience in schools located outside Canada may be accepted at the discretion of the Superintendent of Human Resource Services.

Teaching experience shall not include experience gained as a Continuing Education Teacher.
Teaching experience means the number of years of experience to the nearest tenth of a year at September 1 in any year for which a Teacher is given credit as experience in teaching in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement.

Notwithstanding the formula set out above, a Teacher hired on or before October 31 of any school year during the term of this Agreement shall be credited with an amount of Teaching Experience equal to that which the Teacher would have received had the Teacher worked as a Teacher from September 1. Credit for Teaching Experience given to Teachers who were employed by a Predecessor Board prior to September 1979, and who continue with the Board, shall not be reduced by reason of this provision.
Teaching experience means the number of years where the majority of time is assigned to furnish to learners direct instructional or other educational services under an endorsement for which demonstration of competency with the Vermont Core Teaching Standards is requisite.
