Television Episode definition

Television Episode means a one-half or one broadcast hour (as applicable) episode of a television series made available by Licensor during the Avail Term and for which Licensor unilaterally controls without restriction the Necessary Rights.
Television Episode means a serialized half broadcast-hour or broadcast hour television program episode, or other short-form content made available by Licensor to Licensee for commercial airline in-flight exhibition (a) with an Availability Date during the Avail Term, and (b) for which Licensor unilaterally controls without restriction the Necessary Rights.
Television Episode means a serialized half broadcast-hour, broadcast television program hour episodes, or other short-form content.

  • Notice of any adjustment to the DHE Distributor Price for a DHE Included Program that is not a Television Episode (“Repricing”) shall be set forth in a written notice to Licensee not less than 30 days prior to the effective date of such Repricing.

  • For each Included Program delivered to Licensee in the form of the Alternative File Format, Licensee shall pay Licensor a “Per-File Administrative Fee” per title and per version in the amount of US$250 per feature-length Included Program, US$150 per broadcast-hour Television Episode and US$100 per half-broadcast-hour Television Episode.

  • In consideration for the revised License Periods set forth in Section 3.2 above, Licensee agrees to pay Licensor an incremental license fee of $62,900 for each Television Episode of the “Breaking Bad” Included Program licensed hereunder (the “Amendment 23 Breaking Bad License Fees”).

  • Section 9 of the Original Agreement shall be amended by adding the following at the end thereof: The License Period for each Television Episode will start on its Availability Date and end on a date determined by Licensor in its sole discretion.

As used throughout this Agreement, “High Definition” or “HD” or “high definition” shall mean any resolution that is (a) 1080 vertical lines of resolution or less (but at least 720 vertical lines of resolution) or (b) 1920 lines of horizontal resolution or less (but at least 1280 lines of horizontal resolution). As used throughout this Agreement, “Standard Definition” or “SD” or “standard definition” shall mean (a) for NTSC, any resolution equal to or less than 480 lines of vertical resolution (and equal to or less than 720 lines of horizontal resolution) and (b) for PAL, any resolution equal to or less than 576 lines of vertical resolution (and equal to or less than 720 lines of horizontal resolution).

  • Video programming means programming provided by, or generally considered comparable to programming provided by, a television broadcast station.

  • Cable television service means the one-way transmission to subscribers of video programming and other programming service and subscriber interaction, if any, that is required for the selection or use of the video programming or other programming service.

  • Channel means a natural or artificial watercourse with a definite bed and banks that conducts flowing water continuously or periodically.

  • Channels means the standard definition (SD) channel(s)/ high definition (HD) channels, as the case maybe and more specifically listed out by the Broadcaster, along with their Nature, Maximum Retail Price (if any) and respective genre, in Annexure B annexed to this Agreement that are owned/operated by the Broadcaster (including its subsidiary company or holding company or subsidiary of the holding company) ;

  • Season means the period of time between an AGM and the subsequent AGM.
