Weatherization measures definition

Weatherization measures means the modification of homes and home heating systems to improve heating efficiency, including, but not limited to, caulking and weather-stripping, insulation of ceilings, attics, walls, floors, or water heaters, and installation of furnace ignition systems, clock thermostats, storm windows, or storm doors.
Weatherization measures means those measures installed by the WAP Sub- grantees designed to conserve energy or ensure the client’s health and safety. See Section 10.2.7 of this plan.

Examples of Weatherization measures in a sentence

  • Weatherization measures installed shall begin with those having the greatest SIR (on approved State of Texas Energy Audit) and proceed in descending order to the measures with the smallest SIR or until the maximum allowable per unit expenditures are achieved.

  • Weatherization measures that involve the installation of new equipment such as air conditioners, heat pumps, or electric water heaters can exacerbate previously marginal overload problems to hazardous levels.

  • The purpose is to evaluate work performed on the mechanical systems to evaluate all health and safety issues that could be created or made worse by Weatherization measures.

  • Weatherization measures must be installed in accordance with the Maine Weatherization Standards, as may be amended from time to time.

  • The Weatherization measures must result in energy cost savings over the lifetime of the measure(s), discounted to present value, that equal or exceed the cost of materials, and installation.

Related to Weatherization measures

  • Supportive measures means individualized services that are offered to the complainant or the respondent designed to restore or preserve equal access to the District’s education program or activity without unreasonably burdening the other party. The supportive measures must be non-disciplinary and non-punitive in nature; offered before or after the filing of a formal complaint or where no formal complaint has been filed; and offered to either party as appropriate, as reasonably available, and without fee or charge. Examples of supportive measures include, but are not limited to: measures designed to protect the safety of all parties or the District’s educational environment, or deter sexual harassment; counseling; extensions of deadlines or other course-related adjustments; modifications of work or class schedules; campus escort services; mutual restrictions on contact between the parties; changes in work or class locations; leaves of absence; and increased security and monitoring of certain areas of the campus.

  • Protective Measures means appropriate technical and organisational measures which may include: pseudonymising and encrypting Personal Data, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, availability and resilience of systems and services, ensuring that availability of and access to Personal Data can be restored in a timely manner after an incident, and regularly assessing and evaluating the effectiveness of the such measures adopted by it;
