The Town of Barnstable’s Minority and Women Business Enterprise (M/WBE) Program is a set of specific procedures that has been formulated to implement the Town’s policy of equal opportunity.
It is the policy of the OWNER to encourage the meaningful and significant participation at all levels (CONTRACTOR, Subcontractor, Suppliers and others) for business enterprises owned by persons or color and women – Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Women Business Enterprise (WBE).
The resulting total small business participation on Addendum No. 45 is 13.27% DBE participation, 13.98% Minority and Women Business Enterprise (MWBE) participation, and 1.4% Local Developing Business (LDB) participation.
The report shall, at a minimum, indicate the business name of each certified Minority Business Enterprise or Women Business Enterprise sub-contractor utilized, the amount paid, the type of work performed, the appropriate invoice date, and the payment date to the Division.
