Work Based Personal Assistance Only definition

Work Based Personal Assistance Only means the Work Based Personal Assistance which a Work Based Personal Assistance Only Participant may receive after any period of Ongoing Support, in accordance with any Guidelines.

  • The Provider must provide assistance for Participants during their Period of Service and any period of Ongoing Support and Work Based Personal Assistance Only, which is designed to: develop the skills the Participant needs to improve his or her capacity to find, gain or remain in sustainable employment or self-employment; and allow Participants to address identified Vocational Barriers and Non-vocational Barriers, and that assistance must be in accordance with this Agreement and any Guidelines.

  • Work Based Personal Assistance Only Participants may continue to receive Work Based Personal Assistance after a period of Ongoing Support.

  • General requirements for a Job Plan The Provider must ensure that, at all times, each Participant (excluding Work Based Personal Assistance Only Participants) has a current Job Plan.

  • Subject to any Guidelines, a Provider must not provide Work Based Personal Assistance or Work Based Personal Assistance Only to a NDIS Participant.

  • Subject to clauses 570 and 571 and any Guidelines, if a Participant is a Work Based Personal Assistance Only Participant, the Provider may provide the Participant with Work Based Personal Assistance Only, but must not provide the Participant with any other Program Services.

  • Note: The Provider is not entitled to claim reimbursement under this clause 95.4. The Provider may only provide a Participant with one of the following Program Services at any one time: Employment Assistance; Extended Employment Assistance; Post Placement Support; Ongoing Support; Work Assist Services; or Work Based Personal Assistance Only, such Program Services being mutually exclusive.

  • Work Based Personal Assistance Only payments can continue to be claimed through the Miscellaneous payments screen on the Department’s IT Systems after the Participant has Exited as long as the Participant remains employed in the same position.

  • Work Based Personal Assistance and Work Based Personal Assistance Only provide support from: specially trained personnel, either employed by the DES-ESS provider or from another agency, who provide personal assistance with feeding by mouth or tube or personal hygiene, such as care of catheter; or a registered nurse to administer medical interventions.

  • Work Based Personal Assistance Only provides the same support available under Work Based Personal Assistance to DES-ESS Participants who have completed a period of Ongoing Support and are not entitled to receive other services.

  • If Exited, the DES-ESS Participant can become a Work Based Personal Assistance Only Participant.

  • Personal assistance services means a range of services including, among other things, training in managing, supervising, and directing personal assistance services, provided by one or more persons, that are designed to assist an individual with a disability to perform daily living activities on or off the job that the individual would typically perform without assistance if the individual did not have a disability. The services are also designed to increase the individual's control in life and ability to perform everyday activities on or off the job; necessary to the achievement of an employment outcome; and provided only while the individual is receiving other vocational rehabilitation services.

  • Personal assistant means a licensed or unlicensed person

  • Personal harassment means any improper behaviour by a person employed by the Employer that is directed at and offensive to another person employed by the Employer which the first person knew or ought reasonably to have known would be unwelcome. Personal harassment comprises objectionable conduct, comment, act or display that demeans, belittles or causes personal humiliation or embarrassment to the recipient.

  • Legal assistance means provision of legal advice, counseling and representation by an attorney or other person acting under the supervision of an attorney.

  • technical assistance means any technical support related to repairs, development, manufacture, assembly, testing, maintenance, or any other technical service, and may take forms such as instruction, advice, training, transmission of working knowledge or skills or consulting services; including verbal forms of assistance;

"Directory Listings" or "Listings" are any information identifying the listed names of subscribers of a Telecommunications Carrier or Provider, as applicable, and such subscribers' telephone numbers, addresses, or primary advertising classifications (as such classifications are assigned at the time of the establishment of such service), or any combination of such listed names, numbers, addresses or classifications: (1) that the Telecommunications Carrier and/or Provider provides or uses for the purpose of publishing the Listings in any directory format; or (2) that the Telecommunications Carrier and/or Provider provides or uses in Directory Assistance Service, Directory Assistance List Service, or for other lawful purposes.

  • Directory Assistance Database shall have the meaning set forth in Sections 10.5.2.2, 10.5.2.8, and 10.5.2.9.

  • Collective Work means a work, such as a periodical issue, anthology or encyclopedia, in which the Work in its entirety in unmodified form, along with a number of other contributions, constituting separate and independent works in themselves, are assembled into a collective whole. A work that constitutes a Collective Work will not be considered a Derivative Work (as defined below) for the purposes of this License.

  • Victim of sexual assault means an individual against whom a sexual offense has been committed as described in ORS 163.467 or 163.525; or any other individual designated as a victim of sexual assault by rule adopted under ORS 659A.805.
